Welcome to New London Alliance Church!
Our church has a strong tradition of Bible based teaching, and we strive to apply this knowledge in meeting the needs of the community around us and within our church family. We aim to impact the surrounding area with the truth and life of Jesus and allow Him to make a difference in the lives of everyone we encounter on a daily basis.
On Sundays:
Looking for a place to come and meet with God? Relevant, spiritually deep, and heartfelt worship takes place at 10:30 Sunday mornings. Come and see what God is doing in our midst and find out what makes us different. Looking into the Bible, we are challenged by our pastors in encouraging and uplifting life lessons.
Our Sunday school classes are encouraging times of refreshment and spiritual nourishment that meet at 9:15 before the worship service begins.
For the Summer Quarter, Pastor Howard and Garland Lykins are taking us "Through the Bible" studying I & II Thessalonians and Philippians. Two other classes are studying Titus 2 and will be based on the books "Measure of a Man" & "Measure of a Woman" authored by Gene Getz. Different discussion leaders will facilitate throughout the summer. For the ladies, there may be a few surprises later in the summer that they won't want to miss!
Midweek events are held for all age groups:
Adults have Bible study and prayer time.
Growth Groups will begin meeting again in September 2010. They usually meet on Monday or Tuesday evenings.
Our student group helps adolescents bond with each other in a laid back way and learn to live a life that edifies and pleases Christ.
Children Pre-K through 6th grade participate in energetic and spiritually grounded lessons.
All of these begin at 7pm on Wednesday nights unless otherwise noted.
